Site 77 was formed on 1st January 1990 by Mike Meiris and Mark Lambley. Mark subsequently decided in August 2000 to run his own business in Newmarket

Site 77 originally operated from a yard at the rear of 77 Aylesbury Road, Aston Clinton, Nr Aylesbury, Bucks. – Hence the name!

During the formative years, small building contracts were taken on to provide income for the yard as it had very limited stock and was not established. For the first five years, Mike and Mark worked seven days a week, handballing all deliveries and collections in the only vehicle the “faithful“ 1978 “D” series 7-ton tipper.

The business progressed and two other yards were opened at Halton and Chesham. In June 2000 the team consolidated into one large located on College Road, Aston Clinton, covering one acre in an area with 18,000 sq feet under cover. This allowed all the now, “vast amount of materials” to be in one location.

Gradually, over the years the yard and buildings were leased.
In 2013, Mike then moved Site 77 to Addington, near Winslow, Bucks, occupying a very large barn and outside storage areas for a period of four years.

In January 2017, Site 77 was downsized and moved to Winslow.

Although Mike does not manage a yard any longer, he is available as a consultant to individual customers and architects in order to source reclaimed and new matching building materials. He has thirty years of experience and in-depth knowledge with many contacts in yards throughout southern England.
